Study of both disciplines will begin with Shakyamuni Buddha’s foundational teaching on dependent arising as explicated in in the Upanisa Sutra, a discourse on the causes and conditions of suffering and the path that leads to freedom from suffering. From this entry point, this inter-textual study group will explore a variety of Buddhist and psychoanalytic concepts, with an eye toward enhancing personal practice and clinical efficacy.

All classes will be held via Zoom and begin with a period of zazen. Wednesday evenings 7:30- 8:40 P.M., New York time. (Zoom Zendo opens at 7:25 for fellowship. Please be seated and settled before 7:30)
